Technical Profile: Lacto-K (Liquid Biostimulant)

Lacto K is a liquid biostimulant formulated with 15% Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract, designed to enhance plant growth, nutrient uptake, and stress resilience. It contains a balanced profile of bioactive compounds including alginic acid, mannitol, and organic carbon to improve both plant metabolism and soil health.

Technical Composition

The chemical and biological makeup of this formulation is standard for high-quality seaweed extracts used in sustainable agriculture:

• Ascophyllum nodosum (15%): A nutrient-rich brown seaweed that provides natural plant hormones like auxins and cytokinins to stimulate root and shoot development.

• Alginic Acid (Min. 1.5%): Acts as a soil conditioner, improving soil structure, water retention, and aeration.

• Mannitol (Min. 1%): A sugar alcohol that enhances nutrient absorption and increases the plant's resistance to abiotic stresses like drought and heat.

• Organic Carbon (5%): Supports soil microbial activity and enhances overall soil fertility.

• Physical Properties: Typically has a pH of 4.7 ± 1.0 and a specific gravity of 1.0 to 1.1.

• Target Crops: Suitable for fruit plants (pomegranates, grapes, citrus, Banana, Watermelon),

vegetable crops (tomato, chili, leafy greens), and flower plants.
